The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for middle/junior high and high school students. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership. Through more than 5,500 chartered chapters, Tri-M has helped thousands of young people provide years of service through music in schools throughout the world. The purpose of our chapter is to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, and promote leadership in the music students of our school.

- On March 19th, there will be another Bake Sale since our last one was very successful! Please bring in your two dollars if you haven't so that the Treasurer and Vice President can shop for the goods which we will sale. If you plan on volunteering please let members of the executive board know.

- The Tri-M informational has been scheduled for March 24th and all members have be asked to participate in the question and answer portion of the informational.

- On Friday, March 28th, there will be a Social, and we ask that majority of the members attend, more than there were at the last social. Also, on behalf of the those that showed up we'd like to thank Fradell's mom for providing food last social.

- May 2nd is the second induction ceremony for those who were nominated this term. There were 52 nominees so we encourage that current members make an effort to get these new members to join. Keep in mind that during this induction ceremony we will be wearing the polos in which we purchased two weeks ago. This also gives you the opportunity for those who did not purchase a shirt another chance. You may or may not receive them in time for the induction ceremony.

- We have been invited to Clark Atlanta University for a tour and to sit in on a Music Seminar Class on Thursday, April 3rd. We will be leaving the school around 1PM and will return around 4:30PM.

- In an effort to be uniformed when we go to CAU, we agreed to order the polos earlier. The new due date for the $15 is February 25th. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

- The calendars for the remainder of the year are in my office. Pick them up as soon as possible.
